Start planning that autumnal trip to Mexico, the Caribbean or Central America now; Southwest Airlines is offering a sale to many Latin American destinations, ending at midnight tonight in each time zone (if you miss the East Coast deadline, have that VPN handy).
If you’re willing to fly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays only, and for travel starting August 25, 2015 (or Oct 20, 2015 or November 3, 2015 on a few routes) and ending December 16, 2015, you can get fares as low as $99 plus fees. Flights originate or end in the United States and cover more than a dozen popular vacation destinations like Jamaica, Costa Rica, Puerto Vallarta and Belize. The Tuesday and Wednesday before Thanksgiving are not included.
Want to go Chicago to Cancun? $99. Orange County to Mexico City? $99. Even long-distance routes like Baltimore to Punta Cana top out at just $239. Be aware the flight prices might not be the same on each routing: Baltimore to Nassau, Bahamas is just $97, but Nassau back to Baltimore is $184. Still, this can be a pretty good deal.
